Give me a bottle of bourbon and half a chicken, and I’ll conquer the world! I’ve got life in me, and it’s fueled each and every day by my inspiring Team. Drew and I started Last Call in the Fall of 2007 and the subsequent years have taught me more than I ever learned in business school. I believe in truth, beauty, freedom, and love. I believe that Tupac is still alive. I believe that we are genuinely making a difference in people’s lives. And I know that the best is yet to come.
My job is to make sure that everyone else does their job, which has to be the easiest job in the world considering the brilliant, hard-working people we have on our Team. I am motivated by the faith that everyone has in Last Call and the collaborative, dynamic work that permeates throughout our company. I preach communication and expectations on a daily basis because I believe they are essential to a flexible work environment. My ultimate goal is to run a company that people are proud to work for.
I’m an avid statesman, adventurer, Burner, Broadway aficionado, athlete, and I wear my Cole Haans as often as my cowboy boots. It’s a wonderful life.
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one’s lifetime.” -Mark Twain
