Of course, each of Eli’s Sports Bar and Grill’s 4 locations offers Last Call Trivia. It’s our blog, and we are going to show off places that will give our leagues a chance at earning a bid to Ludimentis. To get picked as our Bar of The Month means that a venue offers something more, they go the extra mile to bring folks in, and to keep them coming back.
As a sports bar, there is a focus on sports – national and local games are always showing on the dozens of screens, and Eli’s runs many contests where patrons can win tickets to games. At their Crescent Springs, KY, location, every participating trivia team is entered into a monthly drawing, which has awarded Bengals, Cyclones, and Reds tickets, in addition to the regular gift cards. They are also a home for fantasy football leagues, running draft events, and showing as many games as possible.
Their Mason location just wrapped up a 10-week special custom sports trivia league. Along with weekly prizes, teams were competing for flatscreen HDTVs, neon bar signs, and more. (Did you know that Last Call Trivia offers custom quizzes for your venue or private event?)
Another unique feature at Eli’s is “Dynamic Drink Pricing.” Sort of a stock exchange for drinks, Eli’s tracks specialty drink and shot sales, and prices can vary according to market forces. This means there may be the occasional “market crash” where prices plunge, and the prudent “investor” can walk away with some amazing deals.
Marketing Manager Dan Classgens describes Eli’s as “Truly local. We have something for everyone – a full selection of sports on-screen – local and national games, a family-friendly atmosphere, trivia, and live music and karaoke. We get heavily involved in our communities and support everything from softball teams to local non-profits and charities. There is always something on tap!”
