Frequently Asked Questions
Does it cost anything?
Its always free to play, but we recommend making a purchase at the bar where you are playing.
How long is the game supposed to last?
Each regular trivia game lasts ~2 hours.
How many players are allowed on a team?
Up to 6 players are allowed to play on a team for both Trivia and Feud. This is strictly enforced at our tournaments, but during regular weekly play, hosts are given license to allow up to 8 players.
Where else can I play?
You can find a full schedule for your city at www.lastcalltrivia.com/schedule.
Where else are you located?
We are in cities all throughout the United States, so even when you’re travelling you can get your weekly dose of trivia.
How does the point wagering system work?
For each round, you have the opportunity to wager points with your answer. For example, in the first half of a trivia game, you can wager 1, 3, or 6 points with your answer. Since you can only use each wager once, you’ll choose your wager based on the amount of confidence you have in your answer. This wagering system allows you and your teammates to use strategy during the Trivia game.
When is the theme round announced? How many points is it worth?
The theme round is announced after the 3rd question and before the bonus question. If you guess correctly, you get 2 points. You may guess as often as you like without a penalty.
Where do I find the hints?
The hints are on the first page at www.lastcalltrivia.com. Check back every week for new hints.
What can I bring with me?
Put away your phones and do not cheat. Nothing except the weekly hints may be written down prior to the start of the game.
(15 minutes into the show) Can I still play?
Of course! You can jump in at anytime.
What’s the difference between Trivia and Feud?
Last Call Trivia – A general knowledge trivia game, we ask questions in all sorts of categories from music to science and from history to television. We have teams assign one of three point wagers to their answers depending on their confidence level, as well as including the opportunity for bonus points, a halftime question, and a final question where teams can gain or lose between 0-15 points.
Last Call Feud – A game in which we challenge teams to identify the top surveyed answers rather than identifying the single correct answer. Who’s the most annoying celebrity? What athletic team is the most disliked? Survey says…this game is a blast to play! You can even become part of the show by answering survey questions right in your Dashboard.
How do we request songs we want to hear?
Let your host know about your favorite songs.
Do I have to buy food/drinks in order to play?
Playing any one of our Last Call Trivia shows is free. We ask that you patronize the bar or restaurant where you are enjoying a Last Call Trivia show.
